Climate change poses one of the greatest challenges to our planet and people. We support research that improves our understanding of how climate change is impacting our farmland, forests, oceans, endangered species, and more, but that also seeks ways to help communities reduce their climate impact or adapt to the irreversible changes.

Our research assesses how management interventions can decrease the impact of climate change on various landscapes and species. This includes research that improves our understanding of the carbon cycle and how plants and soils around the world can store carbon that would otherwise go into the atmosphere.
